When cybersecurity became mission-critical to national defense, the U.S. Navy turned to the National Institutes of Health Information Technology Acquisition and Assessment Center (NITAAC) for secure, turnkey IT solutions that could accelerate modernization across 20 branches worldwide.
Through targeted digital marketing, automated workflows, and executive thought leadership, I helped NITAAC deepen its engagement with senior Navy leaders—supporting more than $1.7 billion in IT task and delivery orders.
CHALLENGE
The Navy needed fast, secure access to advanced IT capabilities to protect its systems and strengthen cyber readiness. Although NITAAC’s Best in Class Government-Wide Acquisition Contracts (GWACs) already supported billions in federal IT obligations, many Navy leaders were unaware of how these vehicles could help modernize systems quickly and cost-effectively.
The challenge was twofold:
Increase awareness among Navy executives and contracting officers about NITAAC’s IT solutions.
Position NITAAC as a trusted partner for defense-grade technology and mission-critical cybersecurity.
ROLE: Digital Strategy, B2B Engagement, and Executive Communications
I led a targeted campaign designed to raise visibility and strengthen the Navy–NITAAC relationship through multi-channel engagement.
Email Automation: Developed customized workflows for Navy procurement, IT, and acquisition leaders—delivering clear, data-driven messaging around $1.7B in Navy task and delivery orders.
Content Development: Crafted B2B messaging and thought leadership materials emphasizing cybersecurity, AI modernization, and mission alignment with Navy priorities.
Executive Positioning: Partnered with leadership to prepare and promote NITAAC executives for speaking engagements at Navy-hosted cybersecurity and IT modernization events across the U.S. and in Germany.
Social and Digital Outreach: Launched LinkedIn and YouTube campaigns designed to reach defense audiences with storytelling that connected IT acquisition efficiency to national security outcomes.
Performance Measurement: Integrated Salesforce and digital analytics to track engagement metrics, identify new opportunities, and refine messaging based on executive response and procurement behavior.
RESULTS
Strengthened NITAAC’s visibility among Navy and Department of Defense leadership.
Supported over $1.7 billion in IT obligations through enhanced engagement and streamlined communications.
Increased B2B interaction through targeted outreach and thought leadership integration.
Elevated executive participation and brand credibility at global defense events.
OUTCOME
By combining digital strategy, analytics, and executive engagement, I helped transform how NITAAC communicated its value to one of the federal government’s largest defense customers. The campaign positioned NITAAC as a key partner in the Navy’s cybersecurity modernization efforts—advancing awareness, trust, and mission alignment across the Department of Defense.
